During the current coronavirus situation, while the University campus is closed, we will still be available to give advice, but only by email. Exceptionally we may be able to call you. We cannot answer the telephone. Do not visit campus.

There are no more face-to-face meetings, but please email ubu-advice@bradford.ac.uk where you can ask questions of our team of advisers. All messages to this address are confidential, seen only by our advisers.

They will respond to you as soon as possible, and may if neccessary also be arrange to speak to you by telephone at a pre-determined time.

When emailing, it will be helpful if you can include as much information as possible to explain your situaiton, such as including PDF letters from the University or Student Finance, for example.

Please always include your UB number.

When the University is open, the Advice Centre is open (by appointment) from 9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m., Monday to Friday, all year round (except Public Holidays) and is located on the middle floor of Student Central on the main campus.

• We provide students with advice and support on issues relating to academic studies, finance, and welfare.

We are in high demand so we only meet by appointment, but in the case of emergency, we will do our best to meet you on the same day.

• Anything you discuss with the Advice Centre staff will be treated in the strictest confidence.

• Telephoning is best (during office hours) because our reception team will be able to find an available appointment slot.
• Once you've done that, you can also email us details of your case and any letters from the University, to help us prepare.
• If you can't come in, just email us and we will reply to you with advice as soon as possible.
